Subject: A forgotten film
Sadly, very few people know about this movie, which is one of John Ford's most melancholy films. Maureen O'Hara's performance is heartbreaking. Ford has often been called a super-patriotic jingo, but that is all wrong. He was a true poet. No wonder he drank as much as he did.

Subject: The long boring trailer
Somewhat disjointed (and I'll soon explain why) trailer for this John Ford movie. Seems to start in the middle (I thought we were watching the actual movie for a second) but then some narration comes on, and then we turn to a graduation at west point........ it's still going.... going...

Subject: The Long Gray Line - 1955
Excellent 1954 Columbia CinemaScope presentation of John Ford's story of Martin "Marty" Maher - the REAL legend of West Point.
